  17. Here is what it has been tested and known to work with:

  26.     - video player / Ultimotion

  28.     - multimedia mahjongg
  29.     - GUSmixer (even while the device is in use!)

  33. INSTALLATION
  34.  
  35. IMPORTANT:  This driver requires the MMPM CSD.  If you do not have it
  36. installed, the installation will fail (as it should) and not add anything
  37. to your CONFIG.SYS.  The MMPM CSD can be found at ftp-os2.cdrom.com in
  38. /pub/os2/ibm/os2fixes as MMPMCS.DSK.
  39.  
  40. This driver has NOT been tested by me on OS/2 2.11 (2.1 with SP applied)
  41. but I have been told by many people that it works fine and I don't expect
  42. any problems.  The service pack contains a newer MMPM CSD which should
  43. be an acceptable replacement for the November '93 version listed above.
  44.  
  45. Unzip ultra04a.ZIP to a subdirectory or floppy.  Run MINSTALL and select that
  46. directory as the source and then follow the directions.  Note that MINSTALL
  47. will modify your CONFIG.SYS to append the driver line.  This shouldn't be a
  48. problem as I have done it numerous times without a glitch.  You may install
  49. this software over a previous version without first uninstalling.  Also note
  50. that the driver can be UNINSTALLED by selecting the number of Ultrasounds to
  51. install as zero.

  53. NOTE: If you have installed Dennis Ernst's driver, you may have to re-install
  54. MMPM from scratch and then re-apply the its CSD before installing this driver.
  55. The recommended sequence for this is:
  56.  
  57.     1. run dinstsnd.cmd in /MMOS2/INSTALL
  58.     2. remove all references to MMOS2 drivers and DLLs from CONFIG.SYS
  59.     3. shutdown
  60.     4. remove MMOS2 directory and all subdirectories
  61.     5. re-install MMPM
  62.     6. re-apply MMPM CSD
  63.     7. run instsnd.cmd in /MMOS2/INSTALL
  64.     8. install the driver
  65.     9. can you see the difference, can you feel the difference?
